Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Camino Grove, LLC, doing business as MAINLINE and MAINLINE Water & Sewer ("MAINLINE," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information about you when you visit www.mainlinewaterandsewer.com (the "Site"), request a service, or communicate with us by phone, text message, or other means.
Information we collect
We collect information you provide to us directly, including:
- Contact information — name, phone number, service address, and any details you share about the job.
- Communication content — the contents of calls, text messages, voicemails, or written correspondence with us.
- SMS opt-in status — whether you have consented to receive text messages from us and related keyword activity (e.g., HELP, STOP).
- Payment information — if you pay for service, billing information processed by our third-party payment and accounting providers. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
We also collect limited information automatically when you use the Site, including:
- Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring site, and approximate location derived from your IP.
- Call tracking data — our Site uses CallRail to dynamically display a tracking phone number and record call metadata (time, duration, originating number) so we can measure which marketing channels drive calls. CallRail's practices are described at callrail.com/legal/privacy-notice.
- Google Analytics & Google Ads — our Site loads Google's gtag.js to measure how visitors use the Site (via Google Analytics 4) and to track ad performance and conversions for our Google Ads campaigns. Google may set cookies and collect limited information about your visit. Google's privacy practices are described at policies.google.com/privacy. You can opt out of personalized advertising at adssettings.google.com.
- Reviews widget — we display Google reviews via Trustindex. The widget may load scripts and images from Trustindex and Google.
- Cookies & similar technologies — used to remember preferences, keep the Site secure, and measure aggregate usage.
How we use your information
- To schedule, perform, and follow up on plumbing, water, sewer, sump, and fire line services.
- To respond to your inquiries by phone, text message, or other channels you initiate.
- To send you SMS messages about pricing, products, and service updates if you have opted in. See our SMS Terms & Conditions.
- To invoice and collect payment, and to keep books and records required by law.
- To measure and improve the effectiveness of our marketing and the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations, enforce our agreements, and protect our rights, property, and safety and that of our customers and the public.
SMS messaging
If you opt in to receive text messages from us, we will use your mobile number only to send messages related to the service you requested (including appointment confirmations, pricing, and follow-ups) and other messages described in our SMS Terms & Conditions.
We will not share your SMS opt-in consent or your mobile phone number with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Information shared with service providers that help us deliver our text messages (e.g., our SMS platform and telecommunications carriers) is used solely to transmit those messages.
You can cancel at any time by texting STOP to (801) 405-5000.
How we share information
We share information only as needed to run our business, including with:
- Service providers — hosting, SMS delivery, call tracking (CallRail), analytics & advertising (Google Analytics, Google Ads / gtag.js), reviews (Trustindex), accounting/payments, and similar vendors that process information on our behalf and are contractually bound to keep it confidential.
- Professional advisors — accountants, attorneys, and insurers, when reasonably necessary.
- Law enforcement or regulators — when required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
- Successors — if we merge, sell assets, or reorganize, information may be transferred to a successor as part of that transaction.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide our services, comply with our legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
